Job Description: In this role as an India Chief Risk Officer in Wise’s second line Risk Management Team, you will be a key contributor in, and risk partner for the delivery of the risk management framework in India. This role is an exciting opportunity for you if you have significant risk management experience and are looking to do impactful work. The role will be under the APAC Risk team and reports to the Regional Head of Risk for South East Asia and South Asia. Here’s what will you be doing: • Act as the primary risk partner for the business in India, developing and executing a global risk management strategy tailored to India. • Implement the Wise enterprise risk management framework, risk appetite, and other applicable risk policies at the local level to support India in managing risks effectively and meeting local regulatory requirements. • Manage local regulatory relationships and engagement, representing the management during regulatory reviews around risk; • Drive/review risk and controls self-assessments and documentation by first-line functions/risk owners, providing risk advisory and second-line review and challenge where relevant; • Collaborate with product teams to…
