Korean tax on USD remote income
In your first 5 years of Korean residence, foreign-source income is only taxed in Korea to the extent you remit it into Korea. Keep USD in a foreign account during the exemption window and you often owe nothing in Korea on it. After year 5, you’re taxed on worldwide income. Full tax guide.
