FAQ

How many TOPIK sessions are held in Korea each year?▾

Six PBT (paper-based) sessions per year, six IBT (internet-based) sessions, and three Speaking evaluations. The Korea-side schedule is set by NIIED (National Institute for International Education) and published as an annual PDF, typically released in October or November of the prior year.

When do TOPIK registration windows open in Korea?▾

Each PBT registration window is 7 days long and opens at 10:00 KST on day one. Popular Seoul test centers can fill within the first day or two. Register on day one to secure your preferred center.

How do I sign up for TOPIK in Korea?▾

Korea-based TOPIK registration goes through topik.go.kr (English-language option available). Create an account before the registration window opens, then log in at 10:00 KST on the first day to claim a seat. See our TOPIK registration guide for the full walkthrough.

When are TOPIK results released?▾

PBT results post on topik.go.kr about 6 weeks after the test date. IBT results post within roughly 2 weeks. Score certificates are valid for 2 years from the test date.

Does this tracker cover overseas TOPIK sittings?▾

No. The schedule shown here is the Korea-side sitting only. Overseas TOPIK is administered by local Korean Cultural Centers (한국문화원) or Korean Education Centers (한국교육원) and each country sets its own dates. Contact the institution in your country for overseas dates.
