How orders work
- ₩100,000 minimum per order, before VAT. One listing for 3 months meets it.
- Ads run in 4-week blocks from a Monday. Listings run 3, 6 or 12 months from a Monday.
- Bundle discount: each topic and each job board counts as one. Two in one order: 10% off. Three or more: 20% off. 12 weeks: another 10% off. Listings keep their term price.
- One sponsor per spot and one featured listing per list.
- Your ad shows to every reader, in Korea and abroad, in all six editions.

Build and send
Pick spots and dates, write your ad, and send it. You see the full price before you send.

We review it
Within one business day, we check your business, your link and your ad. If something needs a change, we say which field.
- 03
You pay
We email an invoice with the bank details. Your dates are held for 3 business days. Korean businesses get a tax invoice (세금계산서).

It goes live
Your ad starts at 03:00 KST on the start Monday, in all six editions.

Weekly report
Every Monday you get the numbers by topic and board: how often your ad was shown, seen and clicked, in Korea and abroad.

›Who reads Seoulstart?
People who live in Korea or are moving here, reading guides on visas, jobs, housing, health, money and daily life. They read in English, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese or Japanese.
›Can I advertise on a single guide?
No. You buy a topic, and your ad runs on every guide in it. That reaches more readers than one guide would, and your report shows the topic as a whole.
›What ads do you accept?
Services and products for people living in Korea: moving, phone plans, banks and insurance, schools, housing, apps, shops, employers and more. Some categories need a license number, and some are not accepted. The ad policy has the full list.
›How do I pay?
After we approve your ad, we email an invoice. Korean businesses pay by bank transfer and get a tax invoice (세금계산서). Businesses outside Korea pay by international transfer in KRW or USD.
›Can I show my ad only to readers in Korea?
Ads on this page reach every reader, in Korea and abroad. For Korea-only campaigns, email hello@seoulstart.com.
›What if I need to cancel?
You get a full refund if you cancel before the start date. If we take an ad down or the site is down, we add the missing days at the end.
