What it is

Foreign nationals can apply for degree study on a D-2 visa, and some nationalities have extra document steps.

Who can apply

Foreign citizens who meet one of two rules: neither parent is a Korean citizen, or the applicant is of Korean origin and all schooling from elementary to high school was outside Korea. High school graduate by Aug 31, 2027. Freshman entry only.

Cost or pay

The KAIST Scholarship covers full tuition for 8 semesters and pays ₩350,000 a month for living costs
