Questions about job fairs in Korea

Are there job fairs for foreigners in Korea?

Yes. Seoul City, KOTRA, provinces and universities run hiring fairs for international students and foreign job seekers, mostly in spring and in November. This page lists the next ones with their dates, venues and how to register.

Do I need to register before the fair?

It depends on the fair. The Seoul Global Job Fair takes job-seeker registration on its website, and registering early lets you book interviews. KOTRA's student fair takes applications by email.

What should I bring to a job fair in Korea?

Bring printed copies of your resume in English, and in Korean if you have one, plus your residence card so you can say which visa you hold. Before the fair, read the open jobs at the companies you want to meet.

Which visa do I need to work after the fair?

Most professional jobs at Korean companies use the E-7 visa. Graduates who are still looking for work can switch to the D-10 job-seeker visa. Our visa guides explain both.
