Common questions
Can foreigners apply for Naver internships in Korea?
Yes, if you hold a visa that allows it. A D-2 student at a Korean university needs a part-time work permit (시간제취업 허가) from immigration before starting a paid internship. After graduation, the D-10 job-seeker visa allows an internship of up to one year at one company; report the start to immigration within 15 days. Check each posting for language needs: some ask for Korean, some run in English.
Do Naver internships need Korean?
It depends on the team. Roles on global teams often run in English, while roles serving Korean customers usually ask for Korean. Each listing shows whether the posting is written in English, Korean or both.
Where do I apply?
Open a listing here, then apply on the original posting on Naver's career site. Seoulstart does not take applications.
How fresh are these listings?
Pulled from each employer's career page every weekday at around 17:00 UTC. Listings that disappear from the source are marked expired within 24 hours.
How does Seoulstart decide if a role is 'English-friendly'?
Each posting is classified by its language signals: JD language, explicit Korean-fluency requirements, foreign-team mentions, sponsorship language, and the company's track record of hiring foreign workers. Roles that look Korean-only fall below our threshold and don't surface here. The classification is Seoulstart's read of the public JD; always verify language requirements directly with the recruiter.
