We’re looking for a Sr. Manager of Order-to-Cash (OTC) to own and evolve our billing and collections function as ClickHouse continues to scale. This leader will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our billing, collections, and revenue reporting as we prepare for public-company readiness. You’ll work cross-functionally with Revenue Accounting, Sales, Legal, FP&A, and other operations teams to build scalable processes and workflows. What You’ll Be Doing - Establish the operating model, processes, controls, and team structure for a scalable Order-to-Cash function. Hire, develop, and lead the team as the business grows. - Establish policies and guidelines for pay-as-you-go and commit billing models, invoice adjustments, collections strategy, and billing systems change management. - Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for new product/process introduction (NPI) initiatives, including changes to current billing processes and systems. - Own the billing systems tech stack that maps metered usage to contract entitlements and billable usage, in partnership with our Billing Engineering and Finance Systems teams. Drive system and process improvements, including AI adoption, automation initiatives, and integrations to streamline workflows. - Maintain strong AR health through proactive aging reviews, collections coordination with the sales team, and timely resolution of billing inquiries. - Support monthly accounting close activities including reviewing contracts, reconciliations, usage trends, invoice trends, AR write-offs, and analytics. - Support external audit activities and manage PBC requests related to OTC. What You Bring Along - 8+ years of progressive order-to-cash and billing operations experience, including 5+ years focused on billing and collections in a SaaS or technology company. - Experience with automation tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce CPQ). - Experience with marketplace platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and reports. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness. - Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial insights clearly. - Experience in designing and maintaining internal controls and documentation to support audit readiness and SOX compliance. #LI-remote PERKS - Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly.
