What you'd do
- Implement physical design (RTL to GDS) to achieve optimal power,performance,area metrics.
- Execute floorplanning and powerplanning including hard-macro placement decisions.
- Optimize block partitioning to reduce turn-around-time and improve quality.
What they want
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 8 years experience with EDA tool workflows in semiconductor environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Tcl,Perl,Python) for workflow automation.
Nice to have
- Experience extracting design parameters and summarizing quality-of-result metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze QoR trends and propose improvements.
