Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and dynamic self-starter with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners from diverse backgrounds, levels, and experiences. As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include general accounting tasks such as preparing and entering journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, analysing financial statements, and handling various special projects assigned by management. Additionally, we are considering expanding the scope of responsibilities to include tax filing duties in the future. What You'll Do:: • Perform general accounting tasks as part of the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and analysing financial statements. • Prepare corporate income tax filings (including size-based tax), consumption tax, and business premises tax in collaboration with Tax firms. • Investigate account balance variances and assist the finance team in explaining differences between actual results and forecasts. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, FP&A, Tax, and Internal Audit. • Lead process improvements and contribute to…
