What you'd do
- Define technical direction for Coupang Pay's core payment domains.
- Design and operate large-scale fintech systems including Coupay one-touch payments.
- Lead architecture for back-office, settlement, and reconciliation systems.
What they want
- At least 15 years of backend engineering experience at production scale.
- Designed and operated large-scale distributed systems with Java and Spring.
- Technical ownership of complex services or domains end-to-end.
Nice to have
- JPA and MSA architecture migration experience.
- Payment or fintech development and operations background.
- Settlement and reconciliation experience with strong data accuracy guarantees.
