Job Description: Get To Know The Team The Flink Platform Team manage all the real-time data processing in Grab. We build the infrastructure and the platform for our internal users to write the Flink application using Scala / Java or SQL to process large-scale of real-time events. As the platform team, we ensure the uptime and performance of Flink always at 99.99%, provide a cost-effective managed service and also helping the users to debug their Flink application. Get To Know The Role As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will lead the design, evolution, and operation of Grab's stream processing platform, with Apache Flink as a core compute engine. You will drive medium to large projects across Data Engineering Platforms, mentor senior engineers, and be a technical go-to person for platform architecture, reliability, and production operations. You will be hands-on across Flink, Kafka, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and SRE practices.
