POSITION SUMMARY The BorgWarner Information Environmental Health and Safety Intern Program is designed to provide a hands-on opportunity and environment to learn the profession of EHS at the entry level from the perspective of a Tier-One Automotive Supplier. We are seeking EHS Interns for the traditional spring and fall semesters as well as the summer months between the spring and fall semesters. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Integrating environmental, safety and health requirements into the planning, permitting, design and construction execution documents for projects • Interpreting company, local and national regulatory requirements • Evaluating and applying specialized scientific principles to formulate project scopes and plans • Providing specialized environments, safety and health information in engineering and construction projects • EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE • Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelors degree program (or 2 plus 2) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Science, Fire Protection & Safety Technology, Health & Safety Management or related field from accredited college or University • Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in Environmental…
