At Zoox, you will be a member of the Chassis Brakes & Steering team responsible for component and system requirements, testing and reporting, and collaborating on vehicle system integration issues. In this role, you will work closely with the Chassis Engineering team to coordinate the execution and delivery of engineering milestones by working cross-functionally with Vehicle Integration and Attributes, Functional Safety, Electrical Integration, Software, and other teams. In addition, the candidate will work with tier-one suppliers to design and develop the controller and evaluate component-level test results. In this role, you will: : • Author, refine, and maintain comprehensive technical specifications for brake controls, collaborating closely with external suppliers and cross-functional internal teams at Zoox. • Lead suppliers in the development of brake control functions to meet prescribed performance targets and to deliver FW releases in time for company milestones. • Design and develop robust diagnostic scripts and tools to streamline system troubleshooting and validation. • Lead the triage, resolution, and impact assessment of supplier firmware defects by leveraging insights…
