What you'd do
- Lead and build the Frontier Lab for next-generation foundation model pre-research
- Plan and operate industry-academia joint research projects with top domestic and international research labs
- Coordinate with core model development team every 3-6 months to identify and address technical bottlenecks
What they want
- 1st-author or corresponding-author publications at top-tier AI conferences in foundation model research (LLM,VLM,etc.)
- Experience leading industry-academia projects that produced papers or technology transfer outcomes
- Experience building or leading AI research organizations through successful project completion
Nice to have
- Experience integrating frontier research into core model training pipelines on 3-6 month agile cycles
- Experience leading vision research on Agentic AI benchmarks or RL-based reasoning optimization
- Strategic prioritization ability within constrained resources and timelines
