Job Description: About the Team: The Print Team supports the end-to-end lifecycle of Dow Jones’ print publications—including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily, and the New York Post. Operating across ad intake, production workflows, plant operations, printing, packaging, single copy and amenity sales, Reprints and Licensing, and distribution; the team collaborates with internal cross-functional partners and external vendors, distributors, and the USPS to ensure quality, content freshness, safety, and cost efficiency from creation to final delivery. About the Role The Machinist/Mechanics provides competent and effective mechanic maintenance support to plant operations. The ability to perform work safely, meet the needs of operations, execute the maintenance program and comply with all safety codes is paramount. The Machinist/Mechanic must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in mechanical systems that occur in production equipment. He/she must be able to run tests, isolate problems, remove/replace failed components, determine failure modes by studying worn components and perform other tasks as necessary.
