What you'd do
- Design and assemble robot modules including arms,hands,and waist using commercial actuators and 3D CAD
- Integrate tactile and haptic sensors into robot systems and teleoperation interfaces with wiring verification
- Design and test PCBs and configure firmware for motor drivers and sensor boards
What they want
- Hold a mechanical engineering,mechatronics,or EE background with practical hardware fabrication experience
- Design in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 and understand CNC,3D printing,and laser cutting processes
- Assemble precision hardware with tolerance management and experience integrating commercial actuators and sensors

- Build research interfaces such as teleoperation gloves or haptic devices for high-DoF robot systems
