ROLE SUMMARY Temporal customers are building some of the most critical, reliability-sensitive systems in production. They choose Temporal to move faster, ship with confidence, and operate durable workflows at scale. As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you will help customers and partners move from design to production-ready execution quickly and safely. You will establish strong delivery patterns, operational standards, and enablement that scale across teams and environments (cloud and self-hosted). This is a delivery-focused role centered on making systems work in the real world, and leaving customers better equipped than when you arrived. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Deliver production-ready Temporal implementations by co-building initial workflows with customer and partner engineering teams - Implement and teach production-safe workflow patterns, including retries, timeouts, heartbeats, determinism, and versioning - Identify and remove early activation blockers before they become escalations - Help customers stand up and operate Temporal Server in production, including self-hosted environments - Define worker deployment, scaling, and operational guardrails, including upgrade…
