JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Technical Solution Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into solution designs and lead technology teams / system integrators to build effective solutions while providing expert advice and support throughout the project lifecycle and beyond. This role assumes joint-technology ownership of product delivery to turn business goals into actionable technology blueprints within Marriott’s HR Corporate Systems domain. Coordinates the design, development, configuration and implementation of HR applications. Reports to the Senior Director, HR Solution Engineering & Production Support and will focus initially on custom-developed applications (learning and development; benefits management) and may expand into SAAS products servicing a wide variety of associate-facing HR applications and needs. This position involves degrees of technology development, facilitation of cross-discipline forums and processes to gain alignment on critical business needs and technology investment, and advancement of IT initiatives.
