JOB SUMMARY The position of Engineering Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the owner’s asset. Structural aspects of the hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities all fall within the span of responsibility. Under the guidance of the director of engineering or equivalent, he/she will manage & lead all the engineering operations of the hotel in line with brand standards including being complaint to local statutory laws to ensure maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction. . CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • Diploma either in one of the trades of electrical/electronic/mechanical/refrigeration and air conditioning plus five years' experience in related work, including one year in a supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 5-10 years of Facility management or Hotel Facility Work Experience CORE WORK ACTIVITIES • Provide advice to senior management on all aspects of engineering support, environmental controls and the operational efficiency of the property. • Ensure the effective management of the…
