The Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), located at Patrick Space Force Base, FL, plans, manages, and coordinates research and development and sustainment for all subsurface and near surface areas (seismic, hydroacoustic, and infrasonic) of the United States Atomic Energy Detection System (USAEDS) and United States National Data Center (USNDC) used in monitoring nuclear test ban treaties. The Geophysical Data Analyst will provide subject matter expertise in seismic, hydroacoustic, and infrasonic data analysis support to USNDC research projects, providing seismic research analysis of special data sets for incorporation into AFTAC databases for use in research initiatives. The analyst will help develop improvements to preliminary analysis, ongoing assessments, and final evaluations of regional geophysical data monitoring.
