Company: Marsh Description: The Accounting Operations Manager leads a team of professionals across levels to deliver near-term operational plans and results. This role provides leadership over team performance, contributes to talent decisions, drives process/system improvements, and partners cross-functionally to influence adoption of policies and best practices. This role is based in Urbandale, IA and follows a hybrid schedule, with an expectation to work in the office at least two days per week. We will count on you to: • Supervise a team of professionals at all levels by providing guidance, support, and mentorship; set clear expectations and goals. • Lead, direct, and review team work to accomplish near-term operational plans and results; assign responsibilities based on skills and expertise; provide ongoing feedback. • Provide primary input into talent decisions for direct reports, including hiring, performance, promotion, and rewards recommendations (participating in interviewing and candidate evaluation as needed). • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers/vendors as applicable; maintain clear, timely communication channels. • Explain…
