Job Description: About the Team The Legal department has deep expertise across the core practice areas relevant to a global media and information company, including commercial agreements, privacy, intellectual property, employment, litigation, compliance, corporate governance, M&A, and media law. The team partners closely with business leaders across Dow Jones to provide practical, commercially focused advice that supports growth, manages risk, and enables sound decision-making. About the Role Dow Jones is seeking an Assistant General Counsel based in New York City to focus on newsroom counseling and litigation as part of its media law team. This role will provide timely, practical, and solution-oriented legal advice on defamation, privacy, copyright, court access & freedom of information, and other matters of concern to the journalists across Dow Jones, including The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires, Barron’s, MarketWatch, Mansion Global, Financial News, and Investor’s Business Daily.
