Job Description The Director, Software Engineering will lead Reuters' content management systems engineering organization, with direct responsibility for the platform underpinning content creation, editorial workflows, and publishing on Reuters.com. Reporting to the VP, Software Engineering, this leader will direct the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of Reuters' CMS platform through a major transition, building and leading the engineering, editorial-tooling, and delivery teams responsible for its day-to-day operation and long-term evolution. This is a hands-on leadership role: the Director is expected to act as a principal engineer when needed, providing direct technical guidance on both front-end and back-end challenges, not just organizational oversight.
