What this actually is
You evaluate AI responses in the target language, rate translation quality, write prompts in your native language, and flag errors. Not professional translation work in the traditional sense. The platform title (Brazilian Portuguese - Politics Subject Matter Expert (SME)) reflects the rate band and the expertise required, not the day-to-day work.

Project Overview
Help shape the future of AI in Brazil!
We are building a next‑generation benchmark to evaluate how well AI systems handle complex, real‑world questions in Brazilian Portuguese. This project will help improve how AI delivers accurate, reliable, and context‑aware responses for the Brazilian market.
We are seeking Brazilian Portuguese Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Politics (society/civic culture) to create high‑quality, expert‑level question‑and‑answer content. This role goes beyond basic data labeling and requires deep domain knowledge, critical thinking, and strong writing skills to test advanced reasoning and contextual understanding in Brazilian Portuguese.
Suitable backgrounds may include political scientists & researchers: academics or professionals with advanced degrees in Political Science, specializing in comparative politics, electoral systems, or Brazilian institutional history; public policy analysts: professionals with experience in government agencies, think tanks, or NGOs focused on evaluating, designing, and implementing public programs and legislation; legal & constitutional experts: lawyers or constitutional scholars with expertise in Brazilian public law, administrative law, and the functioning of the three branches of government; sociologists & anthropologists: researchers specializing in social movements, civic culture, urban sociology, or the study of demographic shifts and social inequality in Brazil; diplomats & international relations experts: professionals with a background in foreign policy, international cooperation, or trade relations, particularly those familiar with Brazil's role in global governance; civic tech & governance specialists: experts working at the intersection of technology and democracy, focusing on transparency, digital governance, and citizen engagement; political journalists & commentators: senior reporters or analysts with years of experience covering the "Planalto" legislative processes, and national political trends for major media outlets; human rights & advocacy leads: senior directors or policy advisors from reputable non-profits working on human rights, environmental policy, or social justice initiatives.
Please submit your resume/CV in English.
