What this actually is

You bring your specialist expertise to AI evaluation. The shape of the work varies but the pattern is the same: review outputs, rate quality, write prompts, flag errors. The platform title (Investor Relations Expert) reflects the rate band and the expertise required, not the day-to-day work.

About the work

We're building a high-quality library of public-company investor relations work products. You'll complete self-contained IR exercises from mock files (results packs, shareholder registers, analyst models) and produce the deliverable for each, graded against a rubric.

What you'll do

  • Draft earnings releases, prepared remarks and Q&A briefings for a quarterly results call.
  • Produce guidance-setting and revision recommendations with scenario support.
  • Build investor day and IR presentation materials, equity story and positioning decks, AGM materials, and deal announcement packages.
  • Analyze the shareholder register and ownership base, assess activist vulnerability, and draft dividend and capital return recommendations.

You're a fit if you have

  • 4+ years in an in-house investor relations role at a public company.
  • Direct ownership of an earnings cycle: release, script, Q&A, analyst engagement.

Nice to have

  • IRC charter (NIRI); sell-side equity research before moving in-house; investor relations agency experience.

Assessment

An earnings release and prepared remarks from a mock results pack; a guidance revision recommendation; an activist vulnerability assessment.

Note: this is public-company investor relations. Investor relations at a private equity or venture fund is LP fundraising and is a different role.
