About the Role

We're looking for professional German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech - helping train the next generation of advanced AI systems to sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. Your craft matters here - every recording and evaluation you contribute moves AI speech forward in a meaningful way.

What You'll Do
- Record clear, high-fidelity German voice performances using provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, expressiveness, and overall quality
- Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized German voice output
- Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
- Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Full fluency in spoken German - native or near-native level
- Prior experience in voice acting, narration, dubbing, audiobooks, or comparable audio-focused work
- Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, acoustically suitable recording space
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances consistently
- Sharp attention to detail when assessing pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Experience working with voice directors or audio production teams
- Familiarity with AI tools or audio evaluation workflows
- Awareness of regional German dialect variations - Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise
- Background in broadcasting, theatre, or language performance
