About the Role
What if your mastery of Filipino could directly influence how AI communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for Filipino language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Filipino-language content. Your linguistic insight will shape how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Filipino - making a real and lasting impact on one of Southeast Asia's most vibrant languages.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for people who take pride in the nuance and richness of their language. No prior AI or tech experience required.

What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated Filipino translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues
- Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Filipino
- Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Native or near-native fluency in Filipino
- Strong written communication skills in both Filipino and English
- Solid command of contemporary Filipino usage across different contexts and registers
- Comfortable evaluating written language quality consistently and at scale
- Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic and thorough approach
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
- Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
- Awareness of regional Filipino language variations or dialects
- Background in writing, journalism, communications, or education
