About the Role
We're looking for Chinese language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for language learning and instruction. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Chinese - making a real impact on how millions of learners experience the language.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
- Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
- Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert precision
- Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
- Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction
Who You Are
- Native-level proficiency in Chinese
- Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language
- Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
- Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
- Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
- Comfortable working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
